Get to know how the Willig cheese shop works during a 45-minute tasting session and discover four different cheeses with a specially selected drink!
The Willig cheese shop was founded in 1974 by Henri Willig and his wife, who together teach others how to make cheese. As a result of its success, the cheese shop has since become a tourist attraction.
Accompanied by an expert who will tell you all about cheese-making, you will also watch a video which will reveal the secrets of how cheese is produced and matured.
You will then sample four different cheeses accompanied by mustard and two different types of wine, beer or non-alcoholic drinks which have been specially paired for their complementary tastes.
After the tasting, you will receive a voucher giving you 10% off for the whole shop, with which you can buy a tasty Asmterdam souvenir.

- Location: close to Rembrandtplein Station
- A maximum of 30 people may take part in the tasting session
- While completing your reservation, you will be able to choose which drink you would like
- Children aged 4 years and over must pay the full rate to sample any cheese and have a drink
No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 3 days prior to the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price. Any reservation made for special dates cannot be canceled, modified or refunded.
