Discover Bordeaux's historic district through a gourmet guided tour!
The guided tour will start with a coffee and chocolate tasting in a coffee shop where your guide will tell you more about the history of the Port de la Lune, built to meet the city's economic needs.
You'll then stop at a grocery store where you'll taste honey, cheese and seasonal fruit, or strawberries and cheese in summer. You'll also have the opportunity to sample the famous chocolatine as well as a variety of breads. Of course, you won't want to miss tasting the quintessential Bordeaux pastry, the canelé, at an artisan's.
You'll then head to the Capucins covered market, close to Bordeaux city center. Here, you'll discover the flavors of different cheeses with wine or charcuterie from several producers.
Finally, you'll follow your guide to the Saint-Michel district to a bistronomic restaurant to sample a signature starter or dessert from one of Bordeaux's top chefs accompanied by a glass of wine.
During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of Bordeaux's iconic landmarks such as the Place du Palais, the Place Camille Julian, the Grosse Cloche, the marché des Capucins or the Basilique Saint-Michel.
You'll enjoy a total of 11 tastings at the neighborhood's finest artisans.
