You'll be driven from your hotel to the Stellenbosch vineyards by your tour guide. The Stellenbosch region is famous for its wines including Chenin Blanc and Shiraz.
Enjoy a visit to the town of Stellenbosch with its Dutch architectural style. Take a walking tour of the historic town and have some free time to stock up on some local wine.
Next, head to Franschhoek, a town owing its name to the French Huguenots who settled there from 1685 onwards and developed the viticultural industry. You'll have the opportunity to hop aboard the Wine Tram and sip a glass while admiring the view of the vineyards.
There will be a number of wineries to visit throughout the day. Find out all about South African wine and how it's produced. You'll also visit the cellars and enjoy 3 different tastings including a range of wines and South African cheese.
Your day concludes with a visit to Paarl, one of South Africa's oldest cities with a strong Afrikaner culture.
