Experience a unique adventure as you float down the Mae Wang River on a traditional bamboo raft!
After a pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Mai, you'll set off for the Mae Wang district, renowned for its verdant landscapes and iconic river.
Your first stop will be at the local Mae Wang market, where you can stroll between the stalls and sample Thai specialties. This will be a unique opportunity to discover local life and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the market.
After a lunch break, you'll join the Mae Wang River for the long-awaited experience: a trip down the river on a bamboo raft. Constructed from sturdy bamboo stalks, your 4- to 5-meter-long raft will glide smoothly over the crystal-clear water, offering stunning views of the surrounding nature. You'll navigate through rocky sections and calmer passages, enjoying the coolness of the water and the beauty of the landscape.
Late afternoon, you'll take the road back to Chiang Mai and be dropped off at your hotel marking the end of the day.
