Descend into Batoka Gorge and discover African culture at a local farm!

Departing from Victoria Falls, take the country road to reach the summit of Batoka Gorge, where you will start your hike. Descend deep down within the gorge and walk along the Zambezi River. Stop for a moment of relaxation next to the river and even have a quick dip in the water!

After a tough hike back out of the gorge, enjoy a delicious brunch at a local farm. Your hosts will teach you more about African culture and traditions.

  • Availability: every day (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Times: 6am
  • Duration: 5 hours 30 minutes with a 2 hour 30 minute hike approx.
  • Language: English
  • Departure point: your hotel in Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)
  • Children aged under 15 years cannot take part in this activity
  • Minors must have signed authorisation from a parent or legal guardian to take part in this activity
  • You must be in good physical condition to do the trekking. Guides have the right to refuse participants who do not seem fit to participate in the activity
  • All the guides receive first aid training
  • You will be taken to the summit of the gorge by car where you will start your hike
  • You should bring a hat, sun cream and appropriate footwear
