Explore the Cretan underwater world thanks to this snorkelling activity in Chania with an expert instructor

After being picked up from your hotel, you'll be fully equipped and briefed at the dive centre. Armed with your mask and snorkel, you'll then set off by boat to the nearest snorkelling site, 25 minutes from the centre. There you'll discover the flora and fauna of Chania's waters.

Before heading on to the second snorkelling site, take a break in a small fishing village and enjoy a snack.

Your instructor will accompany you as you explore the second spot, where you'll swim the warm waters of the Aegean Sea.

After you've fully experienced Cretan underwater life, you'll be taken back to the dive centre and then on to your hotel.

  • Availability: every day (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Depart from: your hotel in Chania;the exact pick-up time and place will be confirmed after booking
  • List of areas covered for hotel departures: Kolimbari, Tavronitis, Maleme, Gerani, Platanias, Agia Marina, Stalos, Kalamaki, Agioi Apostoloi, Chania Town, Halepa
  • You must be able to swim to take part in this activity
  • No previous diving experience is required
  • The activity is not open to children under 5
  • This activity is available for groups of 12 people max
  • We advise bringing towels and a change of clothes
  • For the tour operator to make sure you are fit to participate, you will need to fill in a medical form on site
  • The activity is not recommended for pregnant women and people with respiratory problems or back pain
  • Your snorkelling activity may be cancelled in the event of bad weather. If this is the case, you will be offered an alternative date or a refund
