Embark on a lunch cruise to Dia Island, fish and swim in the clear sea waters!

You will be welcomed by the navigating team and you will board an exceptional sail-boat of 13.5m in length. Lifting the anchor, you will head in the direction towards Dia Island, in Saint George's Bay, known for its coasts and clear waters!

The one way trip usually takes 45 to 60 minutes depending on the weather. The crew will explain the mythology of Dia and give you some navigation tips. Upon arrival in St. George's Bay, and once anchored, you will have plenty of time to swim, snorkel, sunbathe and fish.  

Lunch will be served on board: if you choose the full day (7 hours): seafood and spaghetti, fruit with wine and coffee (water and soft drinks included). If you choose the half day option (4 hours 30 minutes in total): light snacks (sandwiches, tzatziki, water and soft drinks included)

Afterwards, you can enjoy the sea view and swim in the translucent waters! Snorkelling equipment is available on board if you wish. You can also ask to borrow fishing equipment to try your hand at sea fishing! 

Optionally, choose to be transport to and from your hotel at the end of the day.

While completing your reservation, you will be asked to chose the duration of your activity as well as the departure point from the 2 options below:

Departure from Heraklion Port

Departure from your hotel. In this case, you must indicate the address of your hotel so that our partner can organise the transfer to your hotel, or from a close-by address

List of hotel departure zones: Fodele, Agia Pelagia, Amoudara, Malia, Hersonissos, Anissaras, Analipsis, Gouves, Kokkini Hani, Heraklion city centre.

In the case where you have chosen a departure from your hotel, the exact pick-up time and location will be confirmed upon completion of your reservation.

  • Seasonal activity: from May to October
  • Availability: everyday (excluding exceptional dates)
  • Duration: 4 hours 30 minutes or 7 hours
  • Departure from Heraklion Port times: 9am or 4:30pm for half-day tour, 9am or 2pm for full day
  • Departure location: at Herakion Port, or from your Heraklion city centre hotel if you have chosen this option (hotels must be in the Heraklion region: Fodele, Ligaria Amoudara, Malia, Hersonissos, Anissaras, Analipsi, Gouves, Kokkini Hani, Heraklion Port) 
     
  • Maximum boat capacity: 10 passengers
  • In the case of a departure from a hotel, the exact time and location of the pick-up will be confirmed to you after having completed your reservation
  • Animals aren't allowed on board
  • In case of any dietary restrictions, you will be able to inform the service team once on board
  • Flippers, masks, snorkels, and fishing equipment can be borrowed for the day on the boat upon request
  • Our partner reserves the exclusive and discretional right to cancel the activity due to weather reasons (storm, extreme cold, heavy rain...). In which case, the activity can be rescheduled to a later date, upon agreement of all the participants, or cancelled. In the case of a cancellations, participants will be completely refunded
