Discover the Medici chapels and their sculptures; take a trip back in time to see the last works of Michelangelo in Florence.
Located in the San Lorenzo basilica, across from the Via Cavour residential palace, the Medici family considered San Lorenzo to be their private church.
Admire the famous masterpieces “Dusk” “Dawn” “Day” and “Night” inside the new sacristy. Take a moment to see the Prince’s chapel, and to learn more about Italy’s most famous family.
Discover the architecture and sculptures in the chapels which were all created by Michelangelo, and perhaps a few secrets about the Medici family...

When you book, a time slot will be given to you. The exact time of your visit will be indicated on your official ticket.
The exact time will depend on availability. By choosing a window between 8:30am and 10am for example, the ticket will be booked for the first available time within that window.

- Availability: Monday to Sunday (excluding exceptional dates)
- Opening times:
- January - mid April; November - end December: 8:15am-1:50pm
- Mid April - November: 8:15am-5pm
- Entry takes place every 15 minutes, the exact time will be confirmed on your official ticket. It can not be used at a different time or date than the one specified on the voucher
- Discounts are available for children and infants; however, certain discounts for children and free entry for infants is only available at the counter
- Entry is free the first Sunday of every month
