Explore one of the smallest islands of the Galápagos and go snorkelling from the beach!
Departing from the port of San Cristobal Island, you'll board a boat to Chinese Hat Island, which is just a stone's throw from Santiago Island. As you draw nearer to the little island, you'll be able to catch a glimpse of the penguins and Galápagos falcons that live there.
You'll begin with a walk along the beach, where you'll spot the seals and the archipelago's unique bird species as they lounge on the beach. Why not go snorkelling in the calm waters to observe the tropical fish up close? With a bit of luck, you'll even come across some of the penguins underwater!
Next, it'll be time to savour a bite aboard your boat before heading to Dragon Hill on Santa Cruz Island. Once there, you'll embark on a hike along a trail to the top of the hill, passing the saltwater lagoons that are often hosting the Galápagos flamingos. As you continue along the path, you'll meet the land iguanas that will accompany you all the way to the top of the hill. When you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the entire Galápagos archipelago.
At the end of your tour, hop back on the boat ahead of the drive back to your hotel.
