Starting from Lisbon, enjoy a guided and private bike tour to Sintra and Cascais!
You'll meet your guide in the center of Lisbon, near the Mouraria shopping center. After a brief introduction and safety instructions, you'll suit up and hop on your electric bike, then make your way to Rossio station.
You'll board a train that will take you to Sintra in 40 minutes. The town of Sintra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is renowned for being the starting point for visits to the many palaces that surround it.
You'll discover Sintra off the beaten track and observe its most beautiful palaces: the Sintra National Palace and its two astonishing chimneys, the Quinta da Regaleira castle, the Monserrate Palace and the Seteais Palace, now a luxury hotel. You'll notice that they all have a different architecture.
You'll reach the center of Sintra and taste the town's traditional pastry: queijadas de Sintra, a sweet cheese-based tartlet.
For lunch (not included), you'll follow your guide to a traditional restaurant and have the opportunity to sample typical Portuguese dishes.
After a well-deserved break, you'll cycle back to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point on the European continent. Cabo da Roca offers panoramic views of the cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean. You'll drive along the wild Praia do Guincho beach to Cascais.
Ancient fishing village, Cascais is today defined as the Portuguese Saint-Tropez and is home to a magnificent bay. You'll make a stop and discover Cascais, again in the company of your private guide.
At the end of your excursion, you'll return to Sintra and take a train back to Lisbon.
