Starting from Marquês de Pombal Square in central Lisbon, you'll board a comfortable bus and head for Aljustrel, the village where Fátima's three famous little shepherds were born: Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco.
In Aljustrel, you'll be free to visit the children's childhood homes. You'll soak up the peaceful atmosphere of this rural hamlet steeped in religious history. You'll also discover the Arneiro well, also known as the Angel's well, a place of recollection where the Angel is said to have appeared to the children.
You'll then continue on your way to the Fátima sanctuary, just 2 km away. With the help of your audioguide (available in French), you'll explore the sanctuary's must-see sites at your own pace. You'll visit the Chapel of the Apparitions, built on the exact site of the Marian apparitions, the Basilica of Our Lady of Fátima housing the tombs of the three shepherds, and the modern Church of the Holy Trinity.
