Day 1: Manila - Sagada - overnight in Sagada
Your adventure will begin early in the morning in Manila, where your private driver will pick you up for a 12-hour drive to Sagada. Along the way, you'll pass through a variety of mountain and valley landscapes, with several scheduled stops for breaks and lunch at a local restaurant. On arrival at the end of the day, you'll settle into your accommodation and enjoy a free dinner.
Day 2: Sagada - night in Sagada
This day will be dedicated to discovering Sagada. You'll visit the oldest village in the region, then hike to the impressive Bomod-Ok Falls, where you can take a dip. After lunch in a typical restaurant, your guide will take you to Echo Valley to see the famous hanging coffins, before visiting the ancient church of Sagada and the entrance to the Lumiang burial caves. You'll also have the opportunity to watch a local craftsman fashion traditional pottery.
Day 3: Sagada, Bontoc, Banaue - overnight in Banaue
After breakfast, you'll drive to Bontoc to visit its ethnographic museum dedicated to the Igorots. You'll then continue on to Banaue through the Cordillera mountains, where you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. Once in Banaue, you'll stop at the main viewpoint to observe the impressive rice terraces, carved into the mountains over 2000 years ago and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 4: Banaue, Bangaan, Batad - overnight in Batad
You'll explore the traditional villages of Bangaan and Batad. You'll travel by local jeepney before beginning a trek through the rice terraces of Batad, a remote village accessible only on foot. You'll climb to the top for a breathtaking view of the rice fields and hike to the Tappia Falls, where a refreshing swim awaits. After this day rich in discovery, you'll enjoy accommodation offering a unique view of the landscape.
Day 5: Batad, return to Manila
After your last breakfast, you'll begin your journey back to Manila. A final stop in Banaue will allow you to admire the scenery one last time before returning to your hotel in the capital at the end of the day.
