Discover or rediscover the city of Marrakech with this walking tour of the major sites, palace and buildings, in the company of a local guide.
First, you will head to the Koutoubia Mosque, the city’s iconic monument situated near the Djema el-Fna square. Its minaret, which extends more than 70 metres into the sky, dominates the cityscape. Then head to the Saadian tombs, where more than 150 historic figures have been laid to rest.
After this tour, enjoy lunch in one of Marrakech’s small, traditional restaurants.
During the second part of the day, start by heading to the souks, the city’s typical markets.
Finally, at sunset, end your visit at Djemaa el-Fna square, where you will be able to find various market stalls. You may also come across glittering tinsel, fancy food, snake charmers and other artists in this unusual square.
