Leave Marrakech for “the Door of the Desert” and discover the various desert landscapes seen in a number of films while touring Atlas studios!
Departing from Marrakech, head towards the town of Ouarzazate. During the trip to Ouarzazate, you will drive along the Tizi N’Tichka pass, the highest mountain pass in Northern Africa. The first stop on your tour will be to the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Explore the fortified village built in the traditional South-Moroccan style.
Continue your tour with a visit of Atlas studios. Admire the magnificent movie landscapes in which a number of renowned pictures were filmed including Cleopatra, Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, Atlantis, Gladiator, The Jewel of the Nile and many others!
Finish your day by a tour of Ouarzazate and see the outside of the Tiffoultoute and Taourirt Kasbahs, the holiday residence of the former Pasha of Marrakech. Lunch at the Hotel Oscar restaurant before being transported back to Marrakech.
