Explore the Sahara during a 3-day safari with 1 night in the desert and 1 night in a traditionnal Maroccan riad!
Day 1 : Marrakech - Tizi N Tichka - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorge
Departing from your hotel in Marrakech, you would take the road to Atlas. You will pass by Tizi N Tchika, known for its turns embedded in the mountain. You will then visit the Citadelle (or kasbah) Ait Ben Haddou, made famous thanks to numerous Hollywood films. You will enjoy free time and a lunch break in the city of Ouarzazate. You will then head back to the Dades Gorges valleys in order to spend a night there in a traditional riad.
Day 2: Dades Gorges _ Toudra Gorges - Tinejdad - Erfoud - Merzouga
After having made the most of a traditional breakfast, you will leave the Dades Gorges to join the desert in Merzouga. You will take the road that goes through all the Berber villages and the Toudra Gorges. Some of the villages you will pass through include Tinejdad and Erfoud (or Arfoud). When you arrive in Mergouza, you will enjoy free time to admire the desert landscapes. On camelback, you will then join your campsite located in the midlle of the Sahara desert in order to spend he night there.
Day 3 : Merzouga - Atlas - Marrakech
You will wake up early to enjoy your breakfast during sunrise. You will then head back to Merzouga on camelback and enjoy a 2 hour long stroll. You will drive back to Atlas and stop at Ouarzazate for a lunch break and free time to walk around the city and the citadelle. You will head back to Marrakech inthe end of the afternoon.
