Departing from Moscow, head off to see the city of Sergiyev Posad for a day with your guide!
A shuttle will pick you up from your hotel in Moscow and take you to Sergiyev Posad, in the company of your guide.
Upon arrival at Sergiyev Posad, one of the main spiritual centres of Russia, you can admire the impressive Orthodox Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius monastery, built in the 14th century.
Once inside the monastery, you will discover an exhibition of old religious objects and images of saints. You can also see icons painted by artists like Andrei Roublev or Daniel Chorny.
Then, continue your tour with your guide by heading to the Decorative Art Museum, where you can see traditional tapestries, furniture and embroidery dating from the 17th to the 20th century.
At the end of your tour, your guide will take you back to your hotel in Moscow.
