Spend 5 days on an adventure between Canada and the United States, discovering iconic places from New York!
Day 1
You will leave NYC and head straight to Niagara Falls. The journey takes in the Delaware Water Gap National Park and will pass through Watkins Glen State Park in the Finger Lakes region, famous for its lakes and rivers. The bus will make a stop at the Watkins Glen Canyon Park, giving you the opportunity to discover its rivers and waterfalls.
The road then takes you past Seneca Lake before arriving at Niagara in the late afternoon where you'll be able to discover all the different falls including the American Falls as well as those at Goat Island and Three Sisters Island. At nightfall you'll have the chance to admire it all by the light of the moon.
Day 2
You'll leave your hotel and get a last look at Niagara Falls before heading to Horseshoe Falls where you'll hop aboard the 'Maid of the Mist' to get up close to the tumbling flow of water. At the end of the morning you'll return to Niagara village before heading to Toronto to take a tour of the city's essential sights. In the late afternoon, you'll head to Lake Ontario and the Thousand Island archipelago.
Day 3
Your day will begin with a cruise through the heart of the Thousand Islands along St Laurent River where you'll discover the celebrity homes that line the water's edge. At the end of the cruise you'll head back to the state of New York, stopping off at an Outlet Mall on the way. Hotel arrival in New Jersey at the beginning of the evening.
Day 4
Leave your hotel and head to Philadelphia, crossing the state of New Jersey. Upon arrival, take a bus tour to see Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Elfert Alley, the Philidelphia Museum of Art with its famous 'Rocky Steps', and much more.
The tour then continues to Washington DC via the the states of Delaware and Maryland. Arriving in DC, you'll see the Capitol building, the Senate and the White House accompanied by your guide, before visiting the Air and Space Museum and the Lincoln Memorial.
Day 5
Your day will begin with a visit to Arlington National Cemetery, to attend the changing of the guard and see the Kennedy tomb. Then you will head to the national Mint to see how American dollars are made!
After the mint, your bus will leave Philadelphia and head for Lancaster, the heart of the Amish lands. You will visit a traditional Amish village and discover their way of life, without modern technology, electricity, running water or telephones. Take a trip to an Amish market where you can try some local specialties or pick up some artisanal products for souvenirs.
The coach will then make its way back to New York, arriving in the early evening.
