During this tour of Harlem, you will discover African American culture and the landmarks of the neighbourhood such as the Apollo Theater, the Abyssinian Baptist Church, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, the Theresa Hotel, etc.
You will learn more about the origins of gospel music, and its influence on jazz, blues and rock'n'roll. You will also trace the history of iconic inhabitants of the neighbourhood, such as Billie Holiday and Malcolm X, a famous figure of the civil rights movement in Harlem.
To end your tour, enjoy a unique experience in New York: watch a famous gospel choir in concert in a church in Harlem!

- The churches chosen for this tour are traditional churches and not toursit attractions. By way of of respect for the participants, camcorders and cameras must not be used during the Mass. Smart dress is required; shorts, tank tops and flipflops are not permitted
No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
