Enjoy your evening with a guided tour, dinner and a concert in order for you to discover the jazz culture in Harlem!
You will meet up with your expert guide in Midtown of Mahattan. By small groups of 15 people maximum, you will then take the metro to get to Harlem.
You will start your tour with a guided visit on foot in one of the most emblematic areas in New York. You will discover its most famous sites such as Cotton Club. You will then climb aboard a minivan in order to disocver otherparts of Harlem. Indeed, you will also get to see the Apollo Theater and the Savoy Ballroom.
For dinner, you will be led to the popular restaurant "Sylvia's", the queen of soul food (traditional african-american food from the souh of the United States). You will taste big family meals to share and enjoy between yourselves! Make the most of the famous fried chicken and the corn bread that have just come out of the oven, or even the "collard greens" or the "black eyed peas" (beans).
You will then continue your evening in a jazz club in Harlem. If you visit on Monday, you will head for the Cotton Club to swing to the rythm of an orchestra of 12 different instruments. If you visit on Thursday, you will mix with the locals in a friendly atmosphere and enjoy live music from a jazz or rhythm & blues group.
In the end of the evening, you will be led back by minibus to Times Square.
