Celebrate New Year's Eve in Prague with a traditional 6-course dinner, a performance of Mozart opera and, after midnight, a rendition of Frank Sinatra's most beautiful songs!
Are you spending the last day of the year in Prague? Are you looking for a refined evening out of the ordinary? Take advantage of this activity specially designed for New Year's Eve.
Meet at the Grand Hotel Bohemia, in the centre of the Czech capital, in the hotel's baroque auditorium. Your evening will begin with a traditional 6-course dinner featuring Czech specialities (a vegetarian menu is available).
Throughout your dinner, you will enjoy Mozart's famous arias such as The Marriage of Figaro and The Magic Flute, performed by two opera singers accompanied by a symphony orchestra.
You'll enjoy a grand countdown to Johann Strauss's "The Blue Danube" and "The Viennese Blood", and a traditional midnight snack of ham and lentils.
At around 12.15am, soloist Daniel Klánský and his pianist will perform Frank Sinatra's most beautiful songs, in a hushed but festive atmosphere. You'll be able to dance, sing and enjoy the start of the new year. The evening ends at around 01:30.
