Set off on a day trip to Torres del Paine National Park to see the unique landscapes of Patagonia!
From your hotel in Puerto Natales, You will depart early in the morning to reach one of Chilean Patagonia’s most iconic destinations: Torres del Paine National Park.
On the way, you will cross vast Patagonian steppes and make your first stop at the Milodon Cave, famous for the discovery of fossilized remains of a prehistoric giant sloth. You will then continue toward the park's main entrance, marked by the Amarga Lagoon.
Throughout the day, you will discover several must-see sites within the park. A stop at the Nordenskjöld viewpoint will offer spectacular views of the granite towers that give the park its name. You will also admire the Paine horns, the most photogenic peaks in the massif, towering over turquoise lakes.
You will visit the Salto Grande waterfall and drive along Lake Pehoé, whose colors change with the daylight. If conditions allow, you will take a short hiking trail to reach another scenic viewpoint over the surrounding mountains.
Around midday, you will enjoy a free lunch at a lodge located within or near the park. Several stops will be scheduled so you can enjoy the landscape, take photos, and possibly spot local wildlife, including guanacos, condors, and Andean foxes.
At the end of the day, you will return to Puerto Natales with unforgettable images of this natural gem, listed as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
