Take a helicopter flight over the island's most beautiful landscapes; the cirques, waterfalls, and volcanoes are sure to leave you in awe! 

Create an unforgettable memory of your stay on Reunion Island with this 55-minute flight that will show you all the island's iconic sites from the sky!

After a safety briefing, hop aboard your helicopter and take off for a tour of the whole island. During your flight, you'll see the 3 cirques, Salazie, Mafate, and Cilaos. These stand out for their shapes and are situated around the Piton des Neiges.

You will also get up close to the Trou de Fer waterfall, which is inaccessible on foot. 

You'll then fly over the only remaining active volcano on the island, the Piton de la Fournaise! Enjoy an exceptional view of all its craters and impressive 2,632 meters of altitude.

Then, contemplate the famous Voile de la Mariée waterfall, as well as the White waterfall, before heading on to the Takamaka valley to see even more stunning waterfalls.

You'll then pass over the Grand Etang, the only high-altitude volcanic lake of Reunion Island.

Finally, before returning to the heliport, zip over the lagoon located in the south of the island.

When making your reservation, you will be asked to choose between : 

  • Meeting directly at the heliport (make your own way there)
  • A transfer organised by our provider from your accommodation. Please note that transfers to Saint-Pierre heliport are only covered for hotels in the south (from Grand Bois to Etang Salé)

  • Departs from: Saint-Pierre Heliport//your hotel if you choose the option with transfers; transfers are only available for hotels in the south of the island (from Grand Bois to Etang Salé)
  • Duration: 55 minutes (indicated flight times may be modified according to weather conditions)
  • To participate in this activity, please show your voucher to the provider on site
  • You will need to arrive 30 minutes before your flight time in order to proceed with boarding
  • The helicopter used during this activity was manufactured in France by Airbus. The interior is spacious and offers panoramic views, so you can fully enjoy the landscapes. The cabin has a maximum capacity of 6 passengers and 1 pilot
  • It is very difficult to anticipate the weather conditions on Reunion Island. A weather review is therefore undertaken on site, 15 minutes before the planned take-off time
  • This activity may be modified or cancelled in the event of poor weather conditions. Should this be the case, a refund, an alternative date or a different route will be offered
  • Children under 2 years of age cannot participate in this tour
  • Passengers must have ID for check-in
  • Passengers will be seated according to body size: the 2 smallest and lightest will be seated in the front, the other 4 will be seated in the back. The seats at the back will be elevated so that all passengers can enjoy a panoramic view.
  • Seating is allocated fairly, favouring at least one person from each group as far as possible and within the limits of applicable regulations
  • For technical and organisational reasons, we strongly advise informing the provider in advance if one of the passengers is a person of reduced mobility (in a wheelchair, walking with a stick or crutches) or of heavy build (over 100 kg)
  • For safety, security, and comfort reasons, only sunglasses, cameras, and mobile phones in aeroplane mode are allowed on board. Bags and cases must remain on the ground, as must selfie sticks and tablets
  • We recommend wearing dark clothing to minimise reflections when taking pictures on board
