Discover le Piton Maïdo on this half-day excursion!

Departing from your hotel, travel by bus towards Le Piton Maïdo. Cross acacia forests, tamarind forests and walk along the edge of the Mafâte cirque at 1700 metres above sea level. Pause at the Maïdo viewpoint to take in the amazing views across the cirque's landform.

On your way down the Maïdo, stop at Mr Bègue's distillery. He will tell you all about how geranium is distilled and the harvesting of its essential oils. You will then set off to Saint Paul's open market, where you will discover many local products.

Once you've enjoyed the island's fantastic scenery, you'll return to your hotel around 12:30.
