Tijuca Peak, a mountain over 1000 metres high, is located in the very heart of Tijuca National Park. The incredible scenery begins before the walk does, with a magnificent waterfall at the entrance to the park. Then you will begin your climb, which will not take more than 2 hours.
From the top, you will have an incredible panoramic view over Tijuca forest and Rio's principal monuments.

- Validity: every day (except 24th, 25th December and 1st January)
- Duration: 6 hours (1.5 hours walking)
- Departure time: 09.00. A shuttle will collect you from your hotel.
- This walk is rated as being moderately difficult
- You are advised to wear light clothing and walking shoes, and to bring a backpack with water, a snack, sun cream and a hat.
- To take part in this activity you will need to present your voucher to the tour operator on the day.
- The date of the trip is subject to change according to the weather conditions.
- You will need to phone the service provider once you are in Rio in order to arrange the exact time and place of your hotel pick-up. Your hotel reception can make this call. The number will be on your voucher.

Not included:
- Food and drinks (you should allow approximately 15R$ for a snack)
No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
