Discover all of Shanghai's treasures in one day!
You will leave your hotel in a private vehicle to the Jade Buddha Temple in the early morning.
You will visit this buddhist temple, known world-wide for its impressive statue of the Buddha, carved from jade. With the help of your guide, you will understand the significance of this statue of over 1m long. You will also discover some other statues in this temple, decorated by precious stones and covered by long loose robes.
You will then leave to visit Shanghai Museum. Situated right in the middle of People's Square, it is completely filled with ancient Chinese art. There, you will discover over 120, 000 antiques such as paintings, potteries, bronze objects, etc.
You will then have lunch in a local restaurant and then leave for Xin TIan Di, the area of the Old French Concession. This area, brought to life by its nightlife, is the home to numerous bars and boutiques.
You will end your day at the centre of the old city, in the Yu Gardens. Lose yourself in the labyrinth, admire the basins, the stone dragons and the flowers surrounding the traditional bridges.
After this breath of fresh air, you will be brought back to you hotel at the end of your day!
