Guide your own dog sled in the heart of Quebec's Fjord-du-Saguenay!

During this unique winter experience, you will move in perfect harmony with the sled dogs as you discover Quebec's landscapes!

Beginners and experienced alike will enjoy themselves in this activity offering the unusual experience of guiding one's own sled along the snowy trails. Once on board your sled, you will learn to drive and control the energy of the huskies and Alaskan malamutes that make up the pack. The ride will also provide a beautiful moment of synergy with the dogs, who you will be able to meet and pet.

You will be amazed at the grandiose landscapes offered by the Fjord-du-Saguenay, a spectacular glacial valley crossed by the river of the same name. In the middle of the forest, you will enjoy stunning views of the surrounding nature and will leave with wonderful memories!

  • Seasonal activity: December to March only (next availability in 2023!)
  • Availability: every day (except exception)
  • Duration: 1.5 hours, including 1-hour ride
  • This activity is not suitable for children under the age of 3
  • The minimum age for driving a carriage is 12. The guide reserves the right to place the child in a duo if they deem it necessary for safety.
  • Pregnant women cannot participate in this activity.
  • If weather conditions are unfavourable, you may not be able to be alone on the sled
  • For your comfort, please remember to bring warm clothes (snow boots, hat, mittens, neck warmer, jacket, snow trousers, etc.), water, a snack and sunglasses
  • Clothes can be rented on site. This option is at an additional cost and requires prior notification to staff before your arrival on site
