Enjoy an adrenalin rush on the via ferrata at Saguenay Fjord accompanied by a guide!

Halfway between hiking and climbing, this via ferrata will give you plenty of thrills. Derived from the Italian "voie ferrée", this course along a vertical rock face combines a sporty outing with the chance to admire some incredible nature. You'll advance thanks to a system of safety cables, which will make you feel like you're hanging in the air as you gaze over the majestic Saguenay Fjord.

You'll get fantastic panoramic views of this unique Quebec landscape. As you make your way along the rock face, which has been specially fitted out to make progress easier, you'll be able to observe the expanses of water and ancient trees before you. Your qualified guide will brief you before you set off and ensure your safety throughout the session. He'll also tell you more about Saguenay Fjord, a perfect place if you're looking for some adventure!

  • Seasonal activity: May to October only
  • Availability: every day from late June to early September, Saturdays and Sundays only from May to late June and from early September to late October
  • Duration: 3hrs including preparation and training time
  • Children under 10 cannot take part in this activity
  • To take part in this activity, you must weigh between 41 kg and 108 kg, be at least 1m50 tall with your arms raised (heels to fingertips) and have a waist circumference of less than 1m17. Participants who don't comply with these safety criteria will not be allowed to take part in this activity
  • Pregnant women are not allowed to do this activity
  • Children aged 10 to 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (one adult can supervise a maximum of 3 children)
  • Particpants aged 17 can kayak on their own but must present parental authorisation if they are not accompanied by an adult
  • We recommend you wear closed shoes and sportswear and bring a bottle of water
  • Long hair must be tied back. Please do not wear jewellery or sunglasses
  • Please arrive at the meet-up point at least 30 minutes before the activity start time.
